Veterinarians
Dr. Jessie Lex, Owner
Dr. Lex received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University in 2013. She grew up outside of Buffalo, NY, and moved to Montana with her husband in 2014 to explore the outdoors and develop her career in veterinary medicine. Dr. Lex enjoys a little bit of everything in veterinary medicine, but is particularly interested in internal medicine, emergency medicine, and palliative care. She became certified in veterinary acupuncture in 2022 and is looking forward to integrating this modality further in this practice. In her free time she enjoys crossword puzzles, running, gardening, and spending time in our national forests and Bob Marshall Wilderness with her husband and two high-energy dogs.
Dr. Carsyn Beach, Associate
Dr. Beach graduated from Gonzaga University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, then received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2013. Her particular interests include preventive care and internal medicine. She was raised in Whitefish and was ecstatic to return to the Flathead Valley and begin working at Countryside in 2014. In her spare time, she enjoys hosting and playing brewery trivia, playing cribbage, reading, and taking advantage of our beautiful valley with her Golden Retriever Flynn (pictured in 2019).
Dr. Lucy Eaton, Associate
Dr. Lucy received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013 and moved to Montana to begin her veterinary career. After six years of working in the Flathead Valley she moved back to New England and continued to practice small animal medicine just outside of Portland, Maine. She then returned to Montana in 2023. She is most interested in building meaningful relationships with clients and patients to provide individualized care for our furry (and feathered) family members. When she isn’t working she enjoys hiking, mountain biking, reading, and spending time with her husband, two children, and her crazy dog, Lyra.
Dr. Rick Myers, Retired
Dr. Myers has retired as of January 20, 2023, to enjoy time with his wife, daughters, and grandson.
